Offers for professional exchange and further training are becoming increasingly important, because

• commercial fishing is undergoing structural change,

• the operation of larger areas of water bodies for freshwater angling is steadily increasing, and

• the areas of responsibility of fisheries administrations are constantly changing.

With a view to our guiding principle "Practical Fisheries Research for Practitioners", we regularly organise specialist seminars and workshops for practitioners of the various inland fisheries sectors. Furthermore, training events for practitioners, ministry and authority staff are offered on a regular basis.
